Summary[]
Apeirophobia is a close range stand with similar themes to the backrooms.
Appearance[]
Apeirophobia is a jumble of metallic black wires which normally masquerade as an faceless, malnourished man which stands at 7ft tall, wears a trench coat, shoes, pants, and hat with a shared color of black. Apeirophobia has various rusty jagged wires that protrude out of its coat and seemingly keep its clothing in place.
Abilities[]
No Clip[]
Apeirophobia can no clip people or things though objects by pushing them into a solid surface. What happens then the stand teleports them on the other side of the surface object immediately. you can only no clip through 100 meters before you are forced to be rerouted to Non-reality. The user can no clip themselves though objects at the cost of a 4 second cooldown, no more, no less. This ability can be toggled by the user to allow sufficient combat with Apeirophobia.
Non-reality[]
Non-reality is a pocket dimension for objects/people who get no clipped thanks to the stand but get rerouted due to maximum no clip limit (100 meters), or by user command. The unfortunate souls will be trapped in similar place like the infamous backrooms, the place is a old, odd, and endless. The walls in the labyrinth are indestructible, and the lights are always dim enough to see, but not enough to light the rooms fully. Apeirophobia has infinite range in the labyrinth, able to walk freely and haunt the halls as it pleases. The user can also let people out by enabling them to no clip though the walls with their presence. The user can decide where the people who no clip out of the labyrinth appear in the real world. Apeirophobia and the user are the only two people who know how to even navigate this place. And of course, The user can always leave via no clip.
Tangled Body[]
Apeirophobia is just a bundle of black, sentient, bendable metal wires in the shape of a human being. Because of this fact it can bend itself to go though tiny spaces, become any shape, make tools and attacks out of its own body, and tie itself around things. The wires can be broken but when it constructs something using multiple wires (armor, claws, exoskeletons) it can become incredibly hard to break. Nobody has been able to bend the black wires Apeirophobia is made of, only the user and the stand have been able to bend them. Apeirophobia has a rusty bundle of wires it wears around its body to not only keep its clothing in place but protect itself. Not only that these wires can lace with Apeirophobia’s metallic fingers, making them efficient weapons in combat. These rusty wires apply a incredibly lethal form of tetanus, which in theory, can be treated with a vaccine but one has yet to make it. The stand winds spare cables it isn’t using around its wirsts to make them able to block attacks and hit harder with a extra bit of weight.
Trivia[]
- This Stand does not possess a proper Stand Cry. When it tries to it produces a ungodly loud roar (the closest way to define the roar is a mix of metal screeching together and the distorted voice of the user yelling his lungs out in anguish, sounding likes he’s being crushed.) which usually intimidates its foes so much they back off as soon as they hear it. The user and stand are both equally confused about this to this day.
- Apeirophobia is a self-aware stand, similar to Spice Girl. But it unfortunately cannot talk properly. Apeirophobia talks in eider ASL or letting its user talk for it. When it tires to talk it comes out as a ear grating metal screech. On some occasions you can hear a faint distorted voice behind Apeirs shrieks, which are masked behind the noises everyone normally hears.
- The trait of apeir’s semi-sentience is still prevalent when the user becomes more skilled with this stand, but it doesn’t question the user much if at all.
- Apeirophobia is actually very silent whenever its not trying to pursue or fight someone.
- This stand lives in the backrooms whenever its not summoned, and actually cleans up the place.
- Apeirophobia and its user tried to grow flowers within the back rooms, and they grew up fine, but they ended up being a little bit tall and yellowish. The plants soon died after they left.
- The stand’s backrooms was discovered on accident when the user was pinned to the floor and about to get his head bashed in. Apeirophobia had to think of something fast, so it made its owner no clip though the ground and into the endless labyrinth it lives in.
- Apeirophobia had no reason to show the user, or anybody in general the backrooms, so the user never found out until later.
- The maze is entirely stand made. THE backrooms don’t exist where this stand was first awakened. Though the urban legend about it still exists.
- Because of how long Apeirophobia has haunted the backrooms, it knows how to navigate it without being lost. Meaning when you get chased down by Apeirophobia you’re pretty much done unless you outrun it.
- Apeirophobia prefers a thin and light frame instead of one coiled in wires as it allows it to move faster and conserve energy, and because coiling itself head to toe takes a lot out of the stand. This preference carries into what it bends its hands into, sharp spears and claws than heavy hammers and such. But it will make an exception of the situation is in dire need of them.
- There is a rumored exit from the labyrinth, through a hole in the floor or a ladder leading to a vent in the walls, nobody yet found it, so nobody can confirm its existence yet. Only Apeirophobia knows if it really exists or not.
- The labyrinth has wifi and working electrical sockets, and they can reach reality.
- Cameras and navigation tools go berserk in the backrooms, as you’re pretty much literally nowhere nobody has gone before before and probably billions, if not quintillions of lightyears away from all reality.
- Apeirophobia will take you back to reality if you get stuck in the backrooms on accident or by the user.
- Apeirophobia at its longest length (unbended and coiled loosely) measures about 35 meters.
- The self no clip has a cooldown of 4 seconds to prevent the user from dodging every attack by letting themselves get hit.
